He seeks to erase the memories of his suffering and forge himself an entirely new identity. Through measured steps and extraordinary determination, Singer manages to rebuild himself. Little by little, he builds a successful real-estate empire, wins the hearts of the women around him, and integrates into the top tier of British society as if he had always been part of it. But as his standing strengthens and his success grows, it becomes clear that the force driving him rests not only on determination and ambition. Behind the charismatic facade lie uncompromising ruthlessness, exploitation of others, and a willingness to trample anyone who dared stand in his way. Gradually, the glittering image he built for himself cracks, and the impressive empire he created — the dream of a man who arrived as a penniless refugee — begins to crumble under the weight of his own actions. This is a sweeping, gripping, twist-filled story that follows the rise and possible fall of a man who refused to accept his fate and sought to shape it with his own hands. The plot draws inspiration from the life of Peter Rachman, the notorious London real-estate tycoon, who rose to the top through highly controversial means. This unique production features around thirty Cameri Theatre actors alongside musicians of the Revolution Orchestra, who accompany the story with musical power and illuminate the constant tension between personal redemption and boundless lust for power.
