Cookie and Local Storage Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains browser cookies and similar local storage on haifa.events and sababa.events, including their mobile web versions. The related iOS and Android applications use device storage for settings, sessions and notifications as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Necessary and requested storage

The sites use limited browser storage to remember language and display choices, keep sign-in and security functions working, preserve favourites and user-requested settings, remember the cookie choice and maintain form or navigation continuity. This storage works when needed for the service or a function requested by the user.

3. Our website statistics

We use our own statistics to understand visits, how people use the service and what needs improvement. This may include which pages and sections are opened, how a visitor generally reached us, the chosen language, the general type of device and browser, the approximate country, clicks and overall interaction with a page. The statistics are not used for advertising or to follow people across different sites. Statistics begin when you select Accept or, after seeing the notice and without selecting Reject, intentionally continue by clicking or tapping a link, button or other control on the site. Merely opening a page, waiting, scrolling or moving a pointer is not treated as consent and does not start statistics.

4. Accept, reject and withdraw

Accept starts statistics and records the choice. Reject, or “Do not count this browser” in settings, prevents future statistics on that browser and clears its local statistics markers. Rejecting does not prevent public browsing. You can change the choice later in the settings on this page. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not undo information lawfully collected before withdrawal or non-identifying summaries already produced.

5. How long browser storage remains

Language preference is normally kept for up to seven days. A statistics session is limited to about thirty minutes of activity. Cookie choices, opt-out, favourites and other user settings remain until they expire, are changed, are cleared by the browser or are replaced by a new version needed for the service. Sign-in and security storage follows the relevant session or account function.
