Not a Word to Mom - a new Israeli play by Noam Gil. An anti-romantic comedy, funny to tears. Direction: Udi Gotshalk. Cast: Limor Goldstein, Molly Shulman, Hai Maor, Keren Mor Meshori, Adi Tzemach, Shechnai Dali. When Nurit painfully discovers that her husband is cheating on her, instead of harsh words toward her mother, she decides to take a drastic step: she invites the mistress's husband and asks him to join her in a direct confrontation to defend their trampled honor. Nurit stands torn between the desire for revenge and a heavy sense of humiliation, and hatches a plan that seems almost unthinkable. But instead of the cheating couple showing up to the meeting, it's Nurit's teenage daughter and her young partner who arrive - having just experienced their first night of love together moments earlier, full of excitement and confusion. This unexpected presence throws Nurit's revenge plans into disarray. During the meeting, instead of taking revenge on her husband, Nurit is forced to confront hard questions that strain the core of her truth - questions her daughter poses clearly and mercilessly, illuminating dark corners of her mother's soul. Nurit finds herself torn between two important forces in her life: on one hand, the desire to be a worthy example for her daughter, and on the other - the internal fire to take revenge on her husband, who only seeks personal satisfaction. Finally, when the cheating husband himself shows up, accompanied by his mistress, the whole picture changes completely: the small meeting suddenly turns into a surreal comedy full of one mistake after another, where truth blends with lies and accusations pass from hand to hand like raging flames. And the question is - will these three couples manage to untangle the emotional and romantic knot woven around them, and rediscover the romance lost in their lives? And if so - what price will they have to pay for it?
