Based on a funny and touching personal story. Eyal is a convenience-store clerk who dreams of hitting it big. He invests in a daycare for refugee children and becomes a silent partner. But very quickly he finds himself solely responsible for 18 toddlers, the caregivers, the upkeep of the daycare, and dealing with creditors and authorities — all without training, without skills, without permits, and without ever really wanting any of it except for the money. To his surprise, it is precisely these children who teach him what real profit is, and give new meaning to his life. Written and performed by: Eyal Raz. Directed, with music by: Lior Zakai. Dramaturgy: Yaron Edelstein. Set and costume design: Roni Harad. Original music: Noa Vinokur. The show premiered as part of Theatronetto 2026, founded by Yaakov Agmon.
