In 2012 I enlisted in the armored corps. My friends gave me two weeks before I'd call them crying that I didn't want to go on. Within a year I became a commander. In 2014 I went into Gaza. Operation Protective Edge caught me on my way to the shower. I told myself, "Ofer, take two more breaths underwater, you're going out to fight." Deep inside Gaza I discovered that Rambo — I am not. I swear it was so funny that I decided to write a stand-up show about it. Oh, and in October 2023 I discovered that my story is still being written — until when?
