There is double casting in collaboration with the Israeli Ha'Sha'a Theater. The play tells the story of the residents of a run-down housing project in Jaffa, centered on an immigrant from Morocco who leads a Jaffa gang known as Kazablan (nicknamed Kaza for short). Kazablan falls in love with the daughter of the neighborhood's chief, an immigrant from Poland, who strongly opposes the relationship between his daughter and Kazablan because of Kazablan's image as uncultured. The play examines issues at the heart of Israeli society, including the ethnic divide in Israel, Ashkenazi-Mizrahi relations, inter-ethnic marriage, acceptance of the other and the different, socio-cultural gaps, social protest and more.
