Neta Spiegelman's father was a legendary journalist on Channel One. A crusader for justice who saw his job as a calling, his own father had been a hero who was killed in the struggle for the founding of the state. Neta grew up to become a celebrated actress. And yet, the role of her life had no audience at all. For five months she accompanied her father in the oncology ward, which became the sweetest chapter in their relationship. "Daddy's Girl" is a multi-channel theatrical work that is, at the same time, a love letter to a father who is no longer here. Inside a television studio, inspired by Neta's memories from the Israel Broadcasting Authority, Neta converses with interviews of her father, settles accounts with the girl she once was, portrays the poet Yona Wallach, and reveals family photos and personal emails.
