Doors open at Grey Club at 19:00, show begins at 21:00. Dawn Tyler Watson pays tribute to the great mothers of jazz — Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Dinah Washington. Dawn Tyler Watson, a Montreal-based singer-songwriter, has won numerous international awards, including the 2020 JUNO Award for Blues Album of the Year. She is a Maple Blues Awards winner for Song of the Year and Best Album/Production, along with 6 more MBA awards and 9 Quebec Lys Blues awards. She has performed with an excellent band led by lead guitarist Ben Racine, and took first place at the International Blues Challenge 2017 in Memphis. With a sound that blends jazz, soul, rock and gospel, Watson pushes the boundaries of traditional blues and takes it to an exciting new dimension.
