We invite you to a special evening — featuring the most romantic jazz hits of all time. Hundreds of candles, a sea view from the monastery rooftop, and unforgettable songs await you: Fly Me to the Moon, Just the Two of Us, I've Got You Under My Skin, Ain't No Sunshine, and many more. On the rooftop of an ancient monastery in Jaffa, where the sky feels closer and time seems to slow down, the most romantic jazz will play — the kind under which people confess their love, reminisce, and simply hold hands. The hits we all know and love will be performed live by a jazz band and singer Tomer Heseg — with his deep, moving voice. On the program: songs that became symbols of love across different eras, from the velvety softness of Nat King Cole's "Unforgettable" to the lyrical "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" by Stevie Wonder. We'll sing "Fly Me to the Moon" — and the wind will carry the music between the ancient walls, up to the clouds, along the moonlit path. At dusk, "Ain't No Sunshine" will play, as the sun slowly sets beyond the horizon, sending one last ray to the Mediterranean Sea. You'll also hear legendary love songs in jazz arrangements: "Shape of My Heart" by Sting and "Your Song" by Elton John. Because emotions know no borders or genres — just an evening, stars, flickering candles, and the distant murmur of the waves. Instead of dusty halls — a city bathed in lights, ancient walls, and an endless sea. This isn't just a concert, but an evening where the music becomes part of the atmosphere. And perhaps — the most beautiful declaration of love. Performers: Vocals - Tomer Heseg. An Israeli singer, conductor, and composer. He holds a doctorate in music and is a graduate of the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts, a soloist and conductor of leading ensembles in Israel. Jazz band: musicians of the Sum Funny Orchestra — an ensemble bringing together musicians with academic experience from leading theaters and philharmonics. Today, the ensemble's members are players in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra and active participants in Israel's contemporary music scene. Please note: the concert takes place in an open area on the grounds of an ancient monastery by the sea. Evenings by the sea can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light scarf or something warm in case of cool weather. Also note that there is no bar or café on the monastery grounds.
