Roy Young, one of the great voices of soul and R&B, celebrates his birthday with a new show dedicated to the beloved hits of Stevie Wonder: a giant creator, a supreme artist and a gifted pianist, one of the voices most identified with the soul of popular music. His songs, which won numerous Grammy awards and became the soundtrack of generations, continue to move millions of listeners around the world, and now receive a live, warm and sweeping interpretation in Young's voice. Young was born in Jamaica and grew up in London, and in the 1970s he conquered the nightclubs of Tel Aviv and Ramla and became a well-known and beloved figure in the country. His career took him to the world's biggest stages: from the Jazz Festival in New Orleans to the Soul Festival in Montego Bay, where he performed alongside stars such as Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Aretha Franklin and Chuck Berry. His unique voice and the immediate connection he creates with the audience make every evening with him an unforgettable experience. In the show, Roy Young and his excellent band, Good News, will perform Wonder's timeless classics such as Superstition, Lately, Another Star, Sir Duke and more. A musical celebration of joy, soul and bursting energy.
