The HaMahapecha Orchestra returns to where it all began — the show "Shirim BeTzavta" ("Songs Together"), which aired on Channel One from the legendary Tzavta club — in a Re:Play format performance that blows the dust off our collective memory. This isn't a nostalgic concert, but a "live laboratory" that takes beloved classics and songs we all love and gives them a new, relevant, kicking pulse. The songs of the cultural giants Shlomo Artzi, Shalom Hanoch, Chava Alberstein, Shoshana Damari, Ariel Zilber, Yehudit Ravitz and others — all from their youth, as documented in the legendary show — return to the stage and screen in one evening. The original performances are combined with rich orchestral arrangements and original video-art work using archival material. For the first time, HaMahapecha is collaborating with creators Ilan Peled and Roy Bar Natan, who will perform on stage alternately and star in a series of retro videos and "commercials" filmed especially for the show as a television homage to the 1970s. Artistic direction: Amir Lekner, Zohar Sharon and Roy Oppenheim. Conductor: Roy Oppenheim. In partnership with: Kan 11 — the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation.
