A performance narrated in Hebrew: Piazzolla's New Tango - Argentine rhythm from Piazzolla to Ginastera, with pianist and multidisciplinary artist Odelia Eliezerov as narrator, and international percussionist Gilad Dobretzki. The story of Astor Piazzolla's life and work, from his childhood in New York, through his studies in Paris, to the revolution he sparked in the world of tango. A gripping dialogue between piano and percussion brings to the stage the passion and pain of classical tango alongside Piazzolla's innovative sound, performed with deep emotion, energy and virtuosity. The show combines live music with theatrical presence, characters and stories. Among the pieces performed: Adios Nonino, Oblivion, Libertango.
