Doors open at 19:00. We invite you to a concert of the music of Ludovico Einaudi and contemporary neo-classical music, accompanied by candlelight, at the Tel Aviv House of Music. The music of one of the greatest neo-classical composers of our time. The beauty of the string orchestra's sound. The flicker of light from hundreds of candles filling the hall. This evening you will hear not only the works of Ludovico Einaudi, but also great classics — Claude Debussy, Johann Sebastian Bach, and other composers whose music has been given new life through the interpretation of today's neo-classical artists. Ludovico Einaudi is an Italian composer and pianist, one of the most prominent representatives of neo-classical music. He won audiences' hearts with the music for the film The Intouchables. The Italian's heartfelt, moving music can be heard in cult films, on social media, and in the world's finest concert halls. On streaming services he outranks Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, and his albums break sales records in the "classical music" category. But neo-classical music was not born in a vacuum. At its foundation lie Bach's harmony, Debussy's impressionism, and the beauty and depth of the great classical tradition — rewritten in the language of the present. That is why this evening's program brings Einaudi's music together with the works of the classical composers whose intonations continue to live on in 21st-century music. The orchestra will reveal the depth of these melodies in a new way: the piano will lead the central emotional line, while the strings lift the sound up to the ceiling of the hall and break through beyond the clouds. There, in the evening sky of Tel Aviv, in air soaked with salt and the scent of the sea, you will be able to hear Experience, Primavera, Clair de Lune, or the music of Bach by the flickering light of hundreds of candles. Performed by: SymFunny Orchestra — an ensemble uniting the finest musicians who came to Israel from the Mariinsky Theatre, the Mikhailovsky Theatre, the Moscow Philharmonic, and the great symphony orchestra. Today they hold leading positions in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra. At the piano: Yaroslav Obraztsov — a representative of the new generation, raised on St. Petersburg traditions, who leads the Intuitive Project Jazz Band. A pianist who performs around the world. His style combines modern power, complex rhythms, and harmonic freedom. A bar with drinks and snacks will be on site.
