Doors of Sela Club open at 12:00. A musical-literary evening entirely inspired by words steeped in wine, salt, drink, and love. Songs of the sea and the port, sailors, taverns, distances, and longing. Sailors have always been linked to wine, poetry, and stories. Between the docks and the taverns, between the voyages and the return home, songs were born about love, yearning, distance, and longing. Hebrew poets, too, captured this world well, in words that have stayed with us to this day. Songs to be performed in the show include: "So What If I'm Human," "The Wine Song," "The Sailors' Song," "A Dinghy Sails," "Turn Aside From Me," "Harmonica Tune," "The Drunkard's Song," "I Am Not the Man," "Once Upon a Time," and more... From the songs of Alexander Penn, Nathan Alterman, Avraham Halfi, and others. Featuring: Anna Shpitz, Natan Salor, Uli Danon, Idan Toledano, Etti Zohar Avramovich, and Elad Cohen Bonen. Musical direction: Ohad Ben Avi. Narration: Yaron Motola. Words: Roni Somek.
