As evening falls over the Jerusalem University Botanical Garden, a different route opens up among the trees, the paths and the lake. Winter Dreams III returns to Givat Ram for a third season, connecting nature, music and light art along a walking route of about two kilometers. What awaits along the route of lights? Two million LED bulbs and more than 44 light sculptures make up 17 worlds, each with its own character. Visitors pass between the World of Hearts, the World of Butterflies and Fairies, the Japanese World, the Lake of Stars, the Laser Zone and the World of Sweets. The giant installations include a plane, a camel, a buffalo, a giant heart and a gift sleigh. In the winter zone, illuminated penguins and bears await alongside a falling-snow effect. Light that responds to your rhythm — alongside the sculptures there are also installations visitors can activate themselves. Playing illuminated tom-tom drums changes the lighting and lets visitors influence what happens around them. A soundtrack written especially for the festival accompanies the walk and gives each part of the route its own atmosphere. A winter evening at the Jerusalem Botanical Garden. The third season of Winter Dreams runs from November 17, 2026 to January 31, 2027. The route begins at the garden's new entrance, offering unusual viewpoints of the vegetation and the garden's landscapes, along with photo opportunities among the light installations.
