Every Brilliant Thing, a production by the Cameri Theater and Elad Theater. Latecomers will not be admitted. By Duncan Macmillan. Performed by: Dvir Bendek. Hebrew adaptation: Yali Bizhawi. Direction: Shai Pitovsky. A heart-gripping drama: "I'm 7 years old. Mom is in the hospital. Dad says she did something stupid, that she couldn't find a reason to go on living. So I take a page and a marker and write her a list – a list of all the good things, all the things worth living for: 1. Ice cream. 2. Water fights. 3. Being allowed to stay up late. 4. The color yellow. 5. Things with stripes. 6. Roller coasters. 7. People falling over." A moving one-man show – the Cameri Theater in partnership with Elad Theater. Dvir Bendek brings to the stage the story of a young boy who, in a genuine attempt to save his mother, is led to write a list – and discovers, years later, that this very list saved him too. Setting out with the innocent intention of coping with a traumatic experience, he uncovers a journey rich with insight, humor, and poetry, offering a fresh, touching perspective on the world. The story that captivated audiences in London now comes to Israeli stages for the first time.
