Valeria is Getting Married is a comic drama at the Cameri Theater by Michal Vinik. The stage adaptation of the Ophir Award–winning film was directed by Matan Darai Badash. Valeria arrives from Ukraine in Israel to marry an Israeli man and start a new chapter in her life. The match was arranged by her older sister Kristina and her husband Michael, who turned matchmaking between Israeli men and brides from Ukraine into a successful business. The groom waits for the ceremony with a bouquet of flowers and hope for a shared future, but just before the wedding Valeria locks herself in the bathroom and refuses to come out.
