Doors open at Grey Club at 19:00, show begins at 21:00. The hot Manouche style, Hungarian virtuosity and Django madness on stage! The spirit of Django Reinhardt, the soul of Budapest's coffee houses. Canaro is the virtuosic encounter between Manouche swing and Hungarian gypsy music – a musical journey between Paris and Budapest you won't experience anywhere else. When Canaro takes the stage, two worlds meet: the Paris of the 1930s, where Django Reinhardt revolutionized jazz guitar, and the glittering universe of Budapest's café culture, where gypsy virtuosos became legends. Manouche swing and Hungarian café music may seem far apart, but in fact they are close relatives: both celebrate freedom, virtuosic improvisation and joie de vivre. Canaro's music reveals these shared roots – seasoning Django's classics with a Hungarian flavor, and weaving both traditions into the ensemble's own original works too. This is not fusion for fusion's sake – but a natural dialogue between two great European musical cultures.
