A comic drama — a new Israeli play by Oren Yaakobi, directed by Eldar Gohar Groisman. Starring: Orna Rothberg, Hagar Angel, Robert Henig, Aviram Avitan, and others. Glass Wall tells the story of a young, successful Israeli dancer living in Berlin who is thrown into a deep crisis when she discovers she is pregnant. Her life takes another turn when her mother arrives for a sudden visit, aiming to carry out her late father's strange and hard-to-understand will — he was a Holocaust survivor. The encounter forces the daughter to confront not only the future awaiting her, but also her family's past and the fraught relationships she had tried to distance herself from. Together with her brother and mother, she sets out on a journey to fulfill her grandfather's last request. Along the way, a surprising secret from his past is revealed — a discovery that shakes the whole family, changes their lives, and lets cracks appear in the glass wall that has separated them for many years. The play was written by Oren Yaakobi, whose plays December, Diaries, Crossing the Wall, Zero in Human Relations, and Blues for the Long Summer Vacation were successfully staged at the Beit Lessin Theater. Yaakobi also created the television series Ran's Quartet.
