The Israeli Children's Theater is proud to present the wonderful story of "The Giving Tree." The story follows the years-long relationship and the great love of a tree for a boy, and its willingness to give of itself unconditionally. When the boy was little, he played with the leaves, climbed the trunk, ate the tree's fruit, swung on its branches, and when he grew tired he would fall asleep in its shade. But as he grew up, he stopped visiting the tree for a long time. Over the years the boy returns to the tree as a teenager, as an adult, and as an old man. At every stage of his life, when the boy comes back to visit, he returns with different wishes, but the tree keeps doing everything it can to make him happy. Over the course of its life the tree gives so much love that it is left a stump, yet happy simply for having given. A magical and moving show for children about unconditional love and the ability to sacrifice for another.
