Mayumana marks 30 years since its founding and launches a new show, Selas - a new creation from the creators of Mayumana, sweeping and multi-sensory. An original and powerful show that translates the forces of nature into a hypnotic stage experience of rhythm, movement and emotion. The rhythm of fire, the flow of water, the movement of wind, the power of earth - four elements. One stage. Infinite energy. This year Mayumana marks 30 years since its founding - three decades of groundbreaking creation, in a stage language identified with it in Israel and around the world. Within this significant milestone, Selas was born, a new show that continues to push boundaries and expand the group's unique language. Inspired by the four elements: fire, water, air and earth, a show was built that connects pulsing music, precise choreography, surprising humor and a moving human presence. This is not just a show but a total experience of body, sound, movement, humor and energy. Selas (from Greek: the energy of light and intensifying music) draws inspiration from the inner light that drives every movement and expresses the connection between elements, sounds and people. Boaz Berman, creator of the show: "Selas was born out of a long process of searching and reflection. I wanted to return to the basics - to the four elements - and examine through them how to renew Mayumana's familiar language without losing its unique DNA. All the music in the show is original and was written especially for it, as part of the desire to create a whole world. In a complex period like this, the very ability to create and bring something new to the stage is not to be taken for granted. It is also a statement about the power of creation and the possibility of letting the spirit prevail."
