An absurdist parody about elections by Ion Luca Caragiale. Translation, adaptation and direction: Niko Nitai. A grotesque play, hilarious to tears, that sharply exposes the behind-the-scenes of an election campaign. Two major rival parties clash, with the ruling party favored to win the coveted seat. But one not-so-innocent letter causes upheavals and endangers the promised victory. A whole circus of schemes and intrigues that isn't far from reality. A sharp and entertaining satire on the corrupt structure of elections in modern society.
