In a fateful meeting between Tom, a poor boy from a struggling family, and Edward, the son of the King of England, the two are surprised to discover just how alike they are. This discovery creates a golden opportunity for them, and they decide to swap clothes and roles. Each of them sets out on a fascinating, suspenseful, funny, and moving adventure in a new and unfamiliar environment... Will their secret be discovered and their true identity revealed? Will the new clothes make them happier? Are they really so different from one another?
