A legend about death. Somewhere, in the far reaches of a great land, in a remote village, lived two old people, a husband and wife. They fell ill and died, mourning their lives. A young mother, her dying infant son in her arms, walked through the fields searching for a cure for him. Later the infant died. A coachman who had lost his own son drove drunks and prostitutes in his cart and had no one to pour his heart out to. The drunks and prostitutes chased after happiness. Cherubs who also passed through the area gathered the souls of the dead.
