Monument of Leprosy is a bold autobiographical play by Yona Wolach. After her release from the psychiatric hospital, Wolach tries to turn her visions and nightmares into poetry. Tadeusz, an anarchist and thief, breaks into her room and becomes her lover and fiancé. The meeting between two lost souls develops into a wild, shattering love story, in which passion, creation, dependency and power struggles blur the boundaries between man and woman. An intimate play for two actors, revealing the dark and turbulent world from which Wolach's groundbreaking poetry grew. By: Yona Wolach.
