The Rehovot Philharmonic's 'Orchestras in the Hall' series — an enjoyable listen to the finest works in a variety of arrangements and styles, in impressive symphonic performances by local orchestras with top soloists, on the stage of Beit HaAm — the Rehovot Cultural Hall. This time: an orchestra and four choirs in one festive, moving concert, conducted by Doron Salomon. The Noam Choir conducted by Doron Salomon, the Mevaseret Zion Choir and the Shachar Rehovot Choir conducted by Gila Bril, and the Meitar Choir conducted by Michal Okon, with soloists Michal Okon — soprano, and Inbal Bril — soprano. On the program: Beethoven's overture to 'Fidelio,' Weber's overture to 'Oberon,' arias, duets and choral excerpts from beloved operas by Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Puccini and more.
