Oh My God — a heavenly comedy by Anat Gov. Ella, a 42-year-old psychologist raising a son on the autism spectrum alone, gets an unexpected phone call from a new patient, A., who insists on meeting her immediately. At the start of the session, it turns out that the man sitting across from her is none other than God himself. But instead of an all-powerful, self-assured being, she meets an exhausted, tormented creator of the world, sunk in depression. Disappointed by his increasingly tangled relationship with humanity, he is considering wiping out all of humankind. Ella has only sixty minutes to make him change his mind — and perhaps also save the world's future. In this wise and touching comedy by Anat Gov, one of the leading voices in Israeli playwriting, questions are raised about faith, fate, and responsibility, alongside a sensitive and humorous look at the complex human reality and the challenges life presents us with. Directed by: Matan Darai Bedash. Starring: Yael Leventhal / Ricky Blich, Norman Issa, Yoav Rosenberg. Filming and editing: Shir Mosan. Key image: Gal Rosenman.
