The Wrong Ron - Orna Porat Theatre for Children and Youth

In order not to spoil your children's viewing experience, children and toddlers under the recommended viewing age will not be admitted into the hall. "The Wrong Ron" is a fast-paced, flowing comedy full of humor, dealing with friendship, social popularity, and the choices that shape our place within a group. Yoel arrives at a new school determined to achieve one clear goal: to be popular — perhaps for the first time in his life. In his view, the way there runs through an invitation to a party thrown by the most popular kid in school, Ron Ashkenazi. To get closer to him, Yoel decides to take a bold step and surprise Ron at his home. But then a funny and unexpected mistake occurs: he discovers there isn't just one, but two students named Ron Ashkenazi — and he has arrived, by complete mistake, at the wrong Ron. From here things get complicated. Yoel finds himself facing a difficult dilemma: choosing the Ron Ashkenazi who could open the door for him to the world of social popularity — or the other Ron Ashkenazi, who may not promise social status, but does offer real and genuine friendship. "The Wrong Ron" raises important questions about social pressure, the desire to belong, and the difference between being popular and being a friend. It's a smart, funny, and heartwarming comedy that reminds us that sometimes the right choice is precisely the one that doesn't look the flashiest — but the most real.
