In order not to compromise your children's viewing experience, children and toddlers under the recommended age will not be admitted to the hall. "My Side" deals with the phenomenon of shaming and online violence, and the way they infiltrate the daily lives of children and teenagers. The annual school trip is suddenly cancelled, and Adam — an outstanding student, class representative on the student council, and a beloved and well-regarded figure — stops coming to school. Yael, the school principal, tries to understand what lies behind his troubling disappearance, but the students in the class, led by Libi and Yonatan, refuse to cooperate and keep silent. Gradually, details begin to surface, and the true picture is slowly revealed. The shocking event forces Libi and Yonatan to face harsh reality and understand just how cruel and uncontrollable online violence can be, how severe the acts committed were — and above all, who bears responsibility for them. "My Side" looks at the social world of children in the current era and raises complex questions about social acceptance, leadership versus conformity, the individual versus the group, freedom of choice, and ostracism. All of these take on added weight in a world where social networks play a central role, where information spreads at dizzying speed — sometimes at a devastating cost. Cast: Orna Katz, Yael Shildkraut, Gal Dorenfeld. Play: Or Rotem, Gal Sarai. Directing: Ido Rosenberg. Music: Nir Logasi. Choreography: Ido Rosenberg. Lighting: Ido Rosenberg, Yuval Cohen. Assistant director: Noa Godel. Set, costumes and props: Shani Tor. Studies show that half of children in fourth grade and above experience harassment in virtual spaces, and 40% report curses and offensive messages via electronic means. "My Side" was created following an in-depth study that included many conversations with children and teenagers, educators, and psychologists and therapists.
