In honor of Hod Moshonov's visit to Israel, Yossi Fine, Doron Raphaeli, and Hod Moshonov come together on one stage — three exceptional musicians, each of whom moves freely between jazz, funk, groove, and electronic music. The three return to the groundbreaking music of Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters, Wayne Shorter, Jaco Pastorius, and others — creators who expanded the boundaries of jazz and connected it to the funk, rock, and electric sounds of their era. From this repertoire they set out on their own journey: not a recreation of the originals, but open, bold interpretations built in real time out of listening, freedom, and deep groove. The meeting between Fine's bass, Raphaeli's drumming, and Moshonov's keyboards and electronics promises live, dynamic, and unpredictable music. Yossi Fine broke onto the international scene in New York in the 1980s, playing alongside David Bowie, Lou Reed, Gil Evans, Nana Tzuri, and many other artists. After returning to Israel, he was a key partner in shaping the sound of local music and in laying the foundations of the Israeli hip-hop scene. He later developed his own unique 'Blue Desert' style, which blends funk, African music, and desert groove. Doron Raphaeli, a drummer, composer, and producer, is one of the founders of the band Atraf and the one who founded and led the group Tararam. Over the years he has developed a rich rhythmic language that combines acoustic drumming, world music, and electronics, and today he also works as an electronic music producer under the name Monodrum. Hod Moshonov is a pianist, keyboardist, producer, and DJ who combines jazz virtuosity with electronics, hip-hop, and contemporary sounds. On the international electronic scene he is known as BEMET, under which name he has performed on stages and at festivals around the world.
