HaSimta Theater and Goren Goldstein Country invite you to HaSimta Theater's jazz club, for an evening devoted entirely to fine, special music in the Goren Goldstein Auditorium. This time: September 2026. Wednesday, September 2 – FunkLab Band, a tribute to Stevie Wonder. Photographer: Nik Kloyev. Funk Lev Band – Israel's leading funk and soul band. Seven musicians, a male and a female singer, bringing endless energy and an unforgettable musical experience. The show is a celebration of music and dance that brings back to the stage the magic of one of the greatest artists of all time, Stevie Wonder. Dor Sinvani – vocals, Yam Gronich – vocals, Yuval Peretz – keyboards, Assaf Alpert – electric guitar, Roy Raines – bass guitar, Tomer Malka – drums, Shiran Magid – trumpet, Ashta Malda – saxophone, Doron Katzko – percussion. Our unique sound and dynamic stage presence guarantee the audience will be part of the show. Wednesday, September 9 – Jam Session for Doctor Jazz's Birthday: a fascinating gathering of musicians who worked with Dr. Shlomi Goldenberg. Wednesday, September 16 – Nostalgic Swing / Le Swing Nostalgique: the beloved swing sound of the past – Django Reinhardt, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Gershwin, and more... like good old wine... the nostalgic sound that makes the heart long and smile... Featuring: Moshe Levi – piano, Yehuda Heinich – guitar, Noy Kesher and Gilda Hami – vocals, Sonia Jacob – saxophone and vocals, Ilan Yaron – drums, Rafi Yedidia – bass. Photographer: Rita Heinich.
