The show is in Romanian. Maia Morgenstern, the first lady of Romanian theater for decades, has played dozens of leading roles in all the plays of the National Theater of Bucharest and other theaters in the capital city of Bucharest. She played Mary, the mother of Jesus, in a film alongside Mel Gibson, which turned her into an international star. For several good years she served as general director of the Bucharest Yiddish Theater, where she has also been performing for decades. Audiences in Israel are in for an amazing experience with a towering actress, bringing tragic and comic theatrical moments of the very finest kind. A truly moving experience! A must-see!
