At the gates of hell, for the hundred millionth time, history's most notorious figure welcomes the damned – decked out in pink, with a heart on his sleeve and a loving smile. But tonight something is different – group number 456,877,879 is made up almost entirely of Jews. This is the chance the tormentor has been waiting for – and he will do anything to receive forgiveness. On his journey to the underworld after his life ends in a bunker in Berlin, refusing to rule alongside the horny Devil, with help from Jesus, the Master of the East, and a love story with the mustachioed Stefan – ShadiSh grapples with the torments of eternal hell, his endless past sins, and a mustache he just can't erase. Through scandalous musical mash-ups, dubious stand-up, and unexpected moments of bliss, this cabaret show examines themes of redemption, inner identity, and the possibility of forgiveness in the face of unforgivable sins. As he desperately tries to prove the change he's made by defending Jews, denouncing racism, and truly embracing himself, audiences are confronted with questions about the nature of forgiveness and redemption, and whether a person can really change in life – or, in this case, in death. Content warning: a satirical take on historical events and provocative social commentary, dealing with questions of nationhood, the state, inner truth, the power of forgiveness, WOKE culture, and more.
