A documentary musical performance by Ronit Kanyo and Joseph Sprinzak. Ronit and Joseph, who served as a foster family for a girl with no legal status in Israel, invite key figures from their family, alongside the animals from The Jungle Book, into a documentary-musical inquiry into children who have moved between homes, families, and nations. "Tapestry of Redemption" offers a range of perspectives on concepts like identity, belonging, and family. Multi-generational autobiographical testimonies are woven together, exposing how society and the state handle questions related to the best interests of the child, society, and the nation. Direction: Joseph Sprinzak. Artistic accompaniment: Marit Ben Yisrael. Writing and composition: Ronit Kanyo and Joseph Sprinzak. Additional texts: Jacques Kanyo and Arye Leibale Sarid. Live music and musical consulting: Guy Sharaf. Props, video, and poster design: Hila Falaks. Lighting design: Rotem Elroei. Thanks: Yonatan Levi, Hadas Gartman, Yoav Gershon. Special thanks to our children: Lulu and Yochai. Supported by: the Ministry of Culture and Sport, the Israel Lottery Council for Culture and Arts, the Center for Experimental Theater (MATAN) - a joint project of the Rabinovich Fund for the Arts, Tel Aviv, and the Leon Recanati Fund.
