Doors at Shablul club open an hour and a half before the show starts. It's recommended to arrive close to door opening. Timed to coincide with October 7th, we are proud to present the magnetic artist Noga Fridman in a show where she sings movingly, accompanied by Adam Ben Amitai, with special guest Daniel Solomon, performing the beautiful, powerful songs from the album she created with Daniel Solomon. How do you keep creating when life seems to be falling apart? And what happens when, from the deepest pain, a creative surge of music, writing, painting and film emerges instead — accompanied by no small amount of humor? In the musical show 'What Was I Thinking,' Noga Fridman tells and sings about the journey she has taken since October 7th, about the loss of her partner and father of her three children, Ido Rosenthal, and about how creating became her way of coping with the new reality. Out of this personal experience came the prose book 'Days as Broken as They Are,' the comic book 'First Person Plural,' the documentary film 'Nothing Is Okay,' and her debut album — 'Without You, With You.' She wrote and composed the album's songs in the year after Ido's fall, working on it together with musician Daniel Solomon, who also guests in the show. This is not a bereavement show in the sense you might expect. It is a human, intimate, musical and unpredictable encounter, holding pain and longing alongside curiosity, honesty, irony and no small amount of humor.
