The art of liberation. At threshold moments, something cracks. From within the crack comes an invitation to surrender into a space of contemplation and wonder – a free zone in which all defenses, pressures, logic and inhibitions are temporarily suspended. Latego leads the audience through a space via seven gates of liberating experiences, embodied through live electronic music, singing, performance, dance and design. At each gate the creators explore another layer in the physical and mental process of renewal and transformation. The performance invites viewers to examine, observe and feel the almost radical act of letting go of the forms familiar to us. Latego is an immersive, two-directional show, during which the audience is split into two groups moving through the Tao complex along opposite routes – the experience differs, but the understanding is the same. Latego was created as a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Klipa Theater and the Tao Culture Center.
