As the political climate darkens and the Nazis grow stronger, the Kit Kat Klub nightclub continues to offer its guests music, dancing, and a temporary escape from the world outside. Cliff, a young American writer looking for inspiration for his book, arrives in the city. At the club he meets Sally, a vibrant singer who performs on stage every night. The bond that forms between them lies at the heart of a story about love, freedom, and the choices people make in the face of a threatening reality. The musical "Cabaret", based on the play by John Van Druten and the stories of Christopher Isherwood, is being staged at the Cameri Theatre, directed by Gilad Kamchi. The production combines a live orchestra, acting, singing and dance, inviting the audience into the world of the Kit Kat Klub.
