On the agenda: renovating the shelter, solving the problem of the multiplying garbage bags at the entrance, and a series of other fateful issues in the fabric of shared living. As the meeting nears its end, one of the apartment owners mentions, almost in passing, that he intends to rent out his apartment to someone dealing with mental health difficulties. "Do you mean a madman?" another tenant asks in a half-whisper. "No," he replies, "someone coping with mental illness." From there the meeting loses its calm and develops into a passionate, stormy clash between the neighbors. Old scores resurface, illegal balconies become weapons in the argument, and somewhere in between — no one knows exactly where — a rat is running around, threatening to become the main character. A stormy comedy about neighbors, the stairwell, fear of the unknown, and the stigmas that come with it.
