On October 6, on the stage of the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center (Heichal HaTarbut) — the legendary ensemble Huun Huur Tu. One of the best-known ensembles in the world music scene, a World Music Award nominee and a performer at the biggest international festivals. Huun Huur Tu's music is hypnotic, deep and almost mystical — a unique blend of ancient throat singing, polyphony and rare traditional instruments, creating the feeling of a true journey outside of time. The New York Times called their music a "musical miracle." For more than 30 years the band has performed on almost every continent, completed 16 tours across the United States and Canada, and collaborated with the Kronos Quartet, Peter Gabriel, Ry Cooder, Carmen Rizzo and Dhani Harrison. Every Huun Huur Tu concert is not just a performance — it's a rare musical experience, where meditative sounds, rhythmic energy and ancient vocal tradition come together, captivating audiences all over the world.
