A show of stories and songs paying tribute to four great Jews: Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Leonard Cohen, and Lou Reed — four brilliant troubadours who utterly transformed songwriting in the twentieth century, their enormous influence on popular music and culture still evident today. The four burst into public consciousness during the 1960s and became singer-songwriters who blurred the line between "poetry" and "songs." Their writing opened a window onto subjects that were taboo and unacceptable at the time, such as civil rights, homosexuality, the women's struggle, desire and creation, spirituality and lust. This tribute show is rich with moving stories and wonderful songs about love, passion, longing, wandering, and women. Among the songs in the show: Hallelujah, Suzanne (Leonard Cohen), Graceland (Paul Simon), Perfect Day (Lou Reed), Lay Lady Lay, One More Cup of Coffee (Bob Dylan), and more... Boaz Cohen, radio broadcaster, pianist, and culture lecturer, will tell the story of the decade that will never return, its events and heroes, and how these wonderful songs came to be. Joining him is an excellent lineup of singers/musicians. Participants: Gal Bilgoray - vocals and voices Yaron Amitai - guitar and vocals Gil Pedida - bass, violin, electric guitar Boaz Cohen - piano and storytelling
