An object performance about the first days of the war. In one of the houses in Jabaliya, the commander gathered Daniel Engel's unit for a briefing around the kitchen table. He used objects he found to explain to the team what was happening: a stack of cups was "the tall building," and next to it a white cup was "the white structure." There was also "the destroyed one" and "the upside-down Milky" - because it was black on top and white on the bottom. Daniel couldn't concentrate on the briefing because he imagined how this table - along with a matchbox, a balloon, a metal ruler, a flip-flop, a ballet shoe - would turn into a show that would help him understand what happened to him, to his friends, to the audience - in the war. Creator and performer: Daniel Engel. Director and dramaturg: Yonatan Levy. Artistic accompaniment: Erez Maayan Shalev. Lighting design: Netanel Kafka. Producer: Sharon Bradley.
