A musical journey through the hidden corners of the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Arc de Triomphe, prestigious districts, the Eiffel Tower, the Bois de Boulogne, and the songs of Joe Dassin. We'll set out on musical tours of Paris accompanied by the best of French chanson. Each session will focus on a different area of the City of Light and will be adorned with chansons connected to the places, history, food culture, and famous people of each district. The sessions will be accompanied by a rich variety of songs, film clips, and performance footage, all translated into Hebrew. Dr. Aviv Amit - lecturer in music, linguist, and researcher of French culture, holder of a doctorate from the Sorbonne University in Paris and from Tel Aviv University. Dr. Amit served as a guest lecturer at the University of Paris IV, lectures at international conferences around the world, and specializes in French chanson, sociolinguistics, and 20th-century French culture.
