Celtic Throne - Mystery of Ireland

The Irish dance troupe CELTIC THRONE – Mystery of Ireland returns to Israel for a tour across the country, after having been forced to halt their tour in the country due to Operation "Lion's Roar." The troupe, beloved by young and old alike, is returning to Israel to pick up where they left off — with acrobatics, dance, juggling, and plenty of fire and passion, all on one stage! The Irish dance troupe Celtic Throne combines Irish and modern dance with martial arts, acrobatics, and juggling. On stage are over 30 dancers of all ages — adults and children — accompanied by a live orchestra and a spectacular, lavishly produced set. In the summer of 2025, Celtic Throne became the first major international show to tour Israel since October 7th. The troupe, which includes children and teenagers, did not come to Israel despite the war in Gaza — they came because of it. At a time when much of the world was criticizing Israel, Celtic Throne wanted to support and strengthen Israel. This mission was the basis for the entire tour. As noted, the tour did not go as planned, and just a few hours after they finished their third show, Operation "Lion's Roar" began. Ultimately, following government instructions, the troupe was forced to cancel the rest of their shows and leave the country. By an unusual route, while Israel's airspace was closed, the troupe made its way to Egypt, and eventually flew out on flights from Sharm el-Sheikh. Brad McDonald, the troupe's manager: "From the moment we canceled the tour, we knew we had to come back. Having tasted only a little of what the people of Israel were experiencing, we are even more determined than ever to finish what we started. The troupe and all its members want to show their love for the people of Israel, and we won't let anyone stop us." This is the feeling shared by all 55 members of the troupe and crew. So much so that the lead dancer, Jude Flory, who was so deeply affected by his experience in Israel, decided to learn Hebrew in order to communicate with the Israeli audience in their own language. Celtic Throne is a family show in every sense of the word — many of the crew members and performers are literally family: brothers and sisters, cousins, mothers and fathers. Vianna Flory, Jude's sister, lead choreographer, dancer, and singer: "I perform on stage with my brother, our cousins, and our closest friends. Now we get to perform for the people of Israel and bring them into our family."
