Aviv Ezra (Radio Baghdad) in a solo show with special guest Reef Cohen. He expands the boundaries of Arabic tradition and renews it through a personal, profound, ritual-like interpretation. In the show he plays the Arabic organ, performs ancient maqams from the classical Iraqi repertoire, and combines them with the 'depression songs' of the 1990s in atmospheric, ambient arrangements. A journey through time that bridges past and future, rooted tradition alongside a contemporary electronic texture. The event is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport.
