By: Gilit Kozeva. Directed by: Dafna Zilberg. "Angels in White" is a medical thriller drama focused on the work of an IVF unit in a hospital, in a world where fertility medicine meets systems of power, interests and corruption. At the center of the plot of Angels in White is Dr. Alex Gold, a resident physician at "HaShikma" Hospital, who struggles to cope with the suicide of her husband, Dr. Yonatan Gold — head of the IVF unit — who took his own life within the hospital's walls. Wounded, pregnant, but determined to uncover the truth, Alex embarks on a personal, incisive and uncompromising investigative journey. As she digs deeper into the case, cover-up attempts, medical corruption and dark secrets threatening to shake the entire hospital come to light. "Angels in White" is a play about a collapsing healthcare system (not ours), about corruption that eats away even at the doctor's oath (not here), and about the small people who refuse to stay silent — and manage to make a big difference. The debut work of investigative journalist Gilit Kozeva, formerly of the "Uvda" newsroom. Filming and editing: Shir Mosan. All characters and events in the play are the product of the creator's imagination, and any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental.
