Yair Dalal, master of the oud and violin and one of the central figures in shaping the ethnic musical language in Israel, comes to the Sukkot Blues Festival with a show that moves between East and West, between the desert and the blues clubs, between ancient traditions and music born in the moment. Dalal is a musician of connections. Throughout his career he has forged a personal language that naturally brings together the oud and Middle Eastern music, the violin and folk tradition, with American blues - the bluesy tones, the 12 bars and the freedom of the jam. Together with an excellent group of musicians, he sets out on a journey of love, wandering and longing, in which the oud meets harmonica and guitars, the East meets America, and the blues takes on new and unexpected colors. Alongside Dalal's own material, songs from the American tradition will be woven in, as well as works by the American artist Dalal loves - Bob Dylan, who wrote no small number of unforgettable blues songs. A musical mosaic crossing continents and traditions, connecting the musical roots from which Dalal grew with his love of blues and free playing. Performers: Yair Dalal - violin and vocals, Shani Dalal - vocals and keyboards, Itamar Bek - vocals and harmonica, Gil Hillman - guitars, Dudi Yitzhaki - bass, Avi Agababa - drums and percussion.
