So as not to disrupt your children's viewing experience, children and toddlers under the recommended viewing age will not be permitted into the hall. What happens when a journey around the world also becomes a test of friendship? At the heart of "Around the World in 80 Days" are Phileas and Fix — two childhood friends caught up in a race in which each wants to prove something different. Phileas, who is used to finishing first and succeeding at every challenge, sets out to circle the globe in eighty days. Fix joins the journey for an entirely different reason: he's determined to stop his friend and keep him from completing the mission. So begins a fast-paced, humorous, twist-filled adventure, in which the old rivalry between the two takes on new meaning. The road leads them through countries and cultures, by train and by ship, as every stop brings a surprising encounter, a new mishap, and another attempt to change the outcome of the race. Alongside the question of who will arrive first, the journey also examines what's left of their friendship once the desire to win takes over everything. This children's production by the Orna Porat Theater, together with the "Fresco" dance company, turns Jules Verne's classic into a theater-dance performance combining acting, music, and movement. The show is recommended for ages 6–12, runs about an hour, and a ticket is required for every age. Play and direction: Shirili Deshe. Choreography: Yoram Karmi. Music: Itamar Gross.
