Dawn Tyler Watson presents a tribute to the great mothers of jazz — Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Dinah Washington. Dawn Tyler Watson – a Montreal singer-songwriter who has won numerous international awards, including the 2020 JUNO Award for Blues Album of the Year. Winner of Maple Blues Awards – Song of the Year and Best Album/Production, plus 6 more MBA awards and 9 Quebec Lys Blues awards. She has performed with an excellent band led by top guitarist Ben Racine, and took first place at the International Blues Challenge 2017 in Memphis. With a sound blending jazz, soul, rock and gospel, Watson breaks the boundaries of traditional blues and takes it to a new, thrilling dimension.
