Doors open at Shablul Club an hour and a half before the show starts. It's recommended to arrive close to door opening. The monthly tradition of "Aharale Kaminsky and Friends" on a Friday afternoon continues paving a fun path into Shabbat. Kaminsky, one of the giants of the founding generation of jazz in Israel, hosts on the Shablul Jazz stage musicians from the top of Israel's jazz scene. This time: veterans of the legendary "Barbarim" club, which operated in Tel Aviv from the mid-1960s to the late 1970s and was one of the important meeting points of the local jazz scene. For about 15 years, musicians and audiences met there every Sunday — playing, improvising and hanging out together until the early morning light. And now, the club's veterans — Piamenta, Mamelo, and Kaminsky — celebrate Danny Gottfried's 87th birthday, joined by Ram Erez ("HaYinuka") on double bass. Aharale Kaminsky - drums. Danny Gottfried - piano. Mamelo Gaitanopoulos - saxophone. Albert Piamenta - saxophone. Ram Erez - double bass.
