A special evening awaits you facing the sea: Sting's greatest hits, hundreds of candles, the magical atmosphere of the ancient Armenian monastery, and a live performance by a jazz ensemble led by Tomer Heseg. Sting's beloved songs - including Shape of My Heart, Englishman in New York, Fragile, Every Breath You Take, Desert Rose and more - are given warm, lively and sensitive jazz arrangements. Not a big orchestral show, but an intimate musical experience in which the music, the sea breeze and the magic of old Jaffa come together into one experience. At the heart of the evening is Tomer Heseg. With his warm, distinctive voice and musical sensitivity, he gives Sting's songs a new interpretation - deep, personal and moving. Just imagine: Fragile playing by the light of hundreds of candles, Desert Rose taking on a delicate Middle Eastern tone, Englishman in New York telling a story of freedom and independence, and Shape of My Heart filling the night with the quiet, stirring romance so closely associated with Sting's music. This is not just a tribute show - it's a musical encounter in which the beloved songs come to new life: in the dialogue between the voice and the jazz ensemble, between the ancient monastery and the sea, and between the memory of the great hits and their new interpretation here and now. Performers: Vocals - Tomer Heseg, an Israeli singer, conductor and composer. He holds a doctorate in music, is a graduate of the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts, and has been a soloist and conductor with some of Israel's leading ensembles. Jazz ensemble: musicians of the SymFunny Orchestra, performing as a jazz ensemble - classically trained musicians with rich experience on leading stages, alongside extensive activity in Israel's contemporary music scene. Please note: the concert takes place in an open area on the grounds of an ancient monastery by the sea. Evenings by the sea can be cool, so we recommend bringing a light scarf or something warm in case of cool weather. There is no bar or café on the monastery grounds. Entrance to the monastery is from the Jaffa promenade side, not through the old city. See you among the candles, the music and the sea of the evening!
